27 March 2019

We are delighted to be able to offer the children of Foundation Stage 1 (Nursery) an out of school visit to Ash End House Children’s Farm in Middleton, Nr Tamworth on Wednesday 27th March 2019. This is a fabulous opportunity and will provide the children with a lovely, first-hand experience of farm animals.  The children will participate in the ‘Animals and their Young’ tour where they will find out the names of male, female and their young.  Children will be able to feed and stroke the animals, choose a fresh egg from the nest boxes and may be able to bottle feed the animals.

The coach will collect us at 9.00am promptly and should return by 3.00pm.  Children are asked to wear full school uniform together with a warm, waterproof coat.

Provision will be made for all weather conditions and children are requested to bring in a packed lunch (no glass bottles, fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolate please) in a clearly labelled carrier bag which can be thrown away after lunch.  However, if your child currently receives school meals he/she will be provided with a packed lunch from school and dinner money should be paid as normal unless they are entitled free school meals.

We request a donation of £13.45 for each child, which will go some way towards the cost of coach travel and insurance.  Please make your payment on ParentPay.   Would you please complete and sign the form below and return it to school by Friday 15th  March 2019.

If your child suffers from travel sickness, please speak to their class teacher at least 2 weeks before this visit so that the necessary paperwork can be completed to allow a member of staff to administer any medication that may be required.

Your continued support is appreciated.
